Re-Taking History is a self guided photo walking tour. Pick up a map from McDonough Square merchants or at the Welcome Center. Look for the Black stone markers imbedded in the sidewalks around town that have a historic McDonough photograph etched into the stone. Sand at the stone and point your camera in the direction it shows to re-take that photo as it looks today. You are standing in the exact same spot as the original photographer stood many years ago.
